Pattern8 is a website dedicated to providing you with free repeat patterns for your web design, t-shirts, business cards, greetings card, stationery, posters, flyers, branding etc. Although copyright for all the original source files remains with the author, you are allowed to use Pattern8 files for both personal and commercial work.
The most important feature of Pattern8 is that it allows you to search for patterns based on colors. Additionally you can find pattern which have received highest rating and you can post or read comments on each pattern.
Pattern8 is developed by John Rawsterne; who also manages PatternHead (a blog and an ecommerce site selling high quality vector patterns to designers around the world). Since Pattern8 only provides free raster (pixel) patterns, a link to the vector version(if available) from PatternHead is also provided when you preview a pattern.
