Supersized is a jQuery plugin that automatically adjust background images to fit browser window and runs them as a slideshow. It is lightweight and works well in all major browsers. Although current version lacks transition effects between slides; you can still use Supersized to create unique looking websites & galleries with ease.
Supersized allows you to control several options including: starting width/height of the background, minimum percent for the starting width/height, turning the slideshow feature on/off, and the amount of time spent on each image.
